Lazer Teeth Whitening

Up to 10 times whiter within the hour!
Our teeth are constantly on show and are one of the first things people notice about us. Many people find the brightness of their teeth decreases over the years. Often our teeth become discoloured from coffee, tea, red wine, smoking, coloured foods or medications. Lazer teeth whitening at The Island Cosmetic Clinic allows you to experience whiter, brighter teeth and boost your confidence in one hour, at a price that will suit your pocket.

Make a dazzling first impression on that first date, interview or sales deal.
Our aesthetic nurse who is professionally qualified in Lazer teeth whitening carries out the procedure. After an initial consultation, you can sit back and relax as your dreams of a whiter smile turn into reality. There are four easy steps to your brighter, whiter smile. A plastic retractor is gently placed in your mouth to hold your smile in position, and a protective dam is applied to the gums. The whitening gel is applied to your teeth and the lazer light is positioned over your teeth for ten minutes. The gel is then removed and reapplied to repeat the process two or three times depending on how dramatic you would like the results to be. The gel, dam and retractor are then removed. You can then rinse your mouth to reveal your dazzling smile.

Laser on mouth

Does laser teeth whitening really work?
Yes it does! The surface of our teeth contains millions of microscopic pores and over the years, organic compounds from food, fizzy drinks, tea, coffee or tobacco penetrate these pores causing discolouration of the tooth enamel. Almost all natural teeth respond to the teeth whitening process, however some people's teeth take longer to whiten such as those with tetracycline antibiotic staining

Does whitening damage the enamel of the teeth?
Research shows there is no risk to the enamel.

Does it work on veneers, crowns, bridges and fillings?
The whitening procedure will not whiten crowns, veneers, bridges or fillings, however they will be restored to their original colour.

Will it hurt?
Most people find the procedure painless. However a small percentage may experience temporary sensitivity to hot and cold for 24-48 hours following the treatment.

How long do the results last?
The results can last up to two years depending on your diet, lifestyle and oral hygiene.
